The detail in the hair and the wings and the dress is just, amazing. The clouds are really something too.

You actually did pretty well without references. I still can't help but feel that the fingers on the hands seem a little uneven in size but besides that I see no anatomical problems.

Another things is the colour. You've shaded the skin with a sort of blueish tone and it just makes it feel rather cold. But then again, considering that the light is probably blue that actually is probably the right way to go about it (it's just personal preference I suppose)

But the dress... the dress is just <3

I mean, the patterns, the colours, how it gives that sort of wispy feel to it it's just ... amazing.

You've really done a good job on this and it's clear you've put in so much effort. I guess you could say, you really put your heart into it.*maimed*

Very nice It definitely is outstanding *^__^* I enjoy the way you shaded the hair, the colour your used for the shadow makes it look soft and delicate. The wings give off a very impressive feel and draw your attention to the magatama. The background rocks too XD gj

First of all, I'd like to say I love this picture in a very affectionate way.

However, there are 3 things I love in a very psychotic, maniac-like way because they have been done so exceptionally well it was like my eyes were ascending into heaven.

Her hair. My favorite part of the entire drawing. That hair is amazing. Wait. It's perfect. So perfect in fact that you could have just drawn her hair and it would still look awesome.

Secondly, her dress. That brush you used... the colour of it... wonderful. Love not only it's design, but the overall costume too.

Thirdly. No, it's not her wings. While they look great, they pale in comparison to that one beautiful eye you have crafted. I love it. I actually love it so much it's hard to explain. Her eyelashes, the colour, every little detail has been so exceptionally executed.

Lastly, I would like to point out what made my head explode: "I also decided to go about challenging myself, by using absolutely NO references whatsoever, and just draw this completely from the top of my head."

Insane. You are insane. You are so insane that it's genius.

Believe me, it definitely did take ages. XD;

Concerning the fingers, that exactly was what I thought. Mainly concerning the left hand. I didn't feel that it seemed right anatomically. But no matter how much I tried to edit it, I just didn't feel tweaking got me anywhere. ._.;

I never really thought of it that way. My main intention was to make the outlook of colours on the girl give off a feel of coolness. Nothing else. |D;

I'm glad you liked the dress! ^_^ I'm really glad I found the brushes I used, they helped tremendously. ;w;b

Funny enough, her hair is also the most favourite part of this picture. Simply because it was shaded the way I actually intended to shade it. And normally features in a picture don't go exactly my way in that fashion... \D

Hoho. I was worried her wings would be eyeblindingly shiny. \D;;;;; I like the eye too! I kept tweaking it to make sure it gives a slightly darker aura in comparison to the rest of the picture. ;w;

Yeah, and doing just that made me all nervous and I started tweaking every little detail in which I had done so far, which in turn took me longer to do this picture than I was really expected to in my book. XD;
