Artist's Comments
I was inspired by a few GS fanarts I found on several japanese websites to make this. "Golden Sun: The Broken Seal" is the original name of the first game. The Japanese text in the image says more or less the same thing. I was trying out a rather different colouring style.
I love the cast of GS1 and the game itself a lot more than GS2 and its cast. :/ While doing this CG...with the help of the openCanvas event file and Camtasia studio, I made a recording on request of a few members on a forum I'm on. I dunno about the cast of GS1. Isaac's a silent protagonist, Garet's a uncompassionate moron, Ivan's a semi-intelligent weenie, and Mia's almost a bit of a mary sue, but she's still the best of them. I think they go well together, but still. I like some of the reactions they give to the yes or no answers, though.
GS1 Felix is a lot better than GS2 Felix, though occasionally you'll get in a fight where the morality is obscured and that's where the GS2 team works. Jenna and Kraden are the team's entire personality there, which is kind of depressing.
